Coach Rowdy Harper and Coach Brady Walz met each other coaching offense at Broken Arrow HS in 2015. Both men are sons of football coaches. Both men love football. Both men love coaching the Offensive Line. And together they have decided to grow their own knowledge and experiences by helping other coaches grow the game in a meaningful manner. In a manner that develops and impacts coaches and, ultimately, players. Together, we will do this in a fun, informal, non-guru, and informative style. And yes, we will talk about RUNNING THE POWER.
My name is Rowdy Harper, I was a 4 year starter on the University of Houston’s Offensive Line, where I started at 4 different positions for 52 consecutive games. I am currently the Offensive Line coach at Broken Arrow High School in Oklahoma. I love everything Football, especially offensive line play, and gap scheme run game!
My name is Brady Walz. This will be my 15th year of coaching. I currently coach WR’s at Ankeny HS in Iowa. I have coached in college at Augustana University and the University of Tulsa, at large high schools in Oklahoma like Jenks HS and Broken Arrow HS, and at smaller schools in Colorado, Nebraska, and South Dakota. I have also coached JV and 9th grade football teams at several stops, all while coaching nearly every position on a football field. These experiences have happened because I love learning football, teaching football, and developing athletes and coaches for their own football lives and beyond.
